Launch of Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 in UAE a Rumour.. Exclusive Dubai Launch in August
After the huge success of Samsung’s Galaxy S3 smartphone the popular Korean electronics manufacturer is getting ready for the launch of its latest Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1.
The latest device that was introduced to the world by Samsung during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in February is scheduled to launch somewhere near the end of August.
Rumours doing rounds in the media claimed that the latest device was already available for purchase in Germany and the United Arab Emirates but Samsung has now denied those claims according to the Emirates 24/7.
Samsung though has made Dubai one of the few cities in the world where the device will be formally launched.
Emirates 24/7 citing sources confirmed that Dubai will see the exclusive launch of the Galaxy Note 10.1 somewhere around late August.
Tech enthusiasts though cannot wait to get their hands on this must-have gadget and the internet is rife with previews and excitement over the latest device that will seamlessly combine the two worlds of smartphones and tablets.
The Galaxy Note unlike both smartphones and tablets does not use touch functionality but rather provides more functionality through the use of an innovative stylus called the S Pen.
S Pen was one of the unique features of the previous Galaxy Note which with a 5.3inch screen created a new market for a tablet/smartphone hybrid.
The Galaxy Note 10.1 though will boast a larger screen size than its cousin and looks more like a tablet than its predecessor.
Boasting a new Exynos Quad Core 1.4 Ghz processor and 2 GB of Ram, the Note 10.1 packs a powerful punch and will allow users to easily multitask.
In unique functionality the Note 10.1 will allow users to split the screen in half for running two applications simultaneously while the stylus will provide users with a unique experience and unmatched functionality.
Running on the latest Android Ice-cream Sandwich mobile operating system the Galaxy Note 10.1 provides a huge range of possibilities.
In addition the device also has 3G functionality plus a 5 megapixel camera.
The Note 10.1 will come in 16, 32 and 64 GB versions while an additional 64 GB of storage can be added through the use of a microSD card.
In a market that had long been dominated by American giant Apple’s iPhone and iPad devices, Samsung’s Galaxy range of devices have helped the Korean firm to become the world’s biggest smartphone manufacturer.
Its Samsung Galaxy S3 device dubbed the “iPhone Killer” has garnered huge success in the market.
Samsung is now looking to follow up on the success of the S3 with the launch of the Galaxy Note 10.1.
Both Apple and Samsung remain locked in intense legal battles over patents infringement with both companies bringing lawsuits of billions of dollars against each other.
